This "betting" game is meant to be used as an activity for an entire high school class or club. The idea is to identify various elements in the game, propose hypotheses, and then test them through observation. Students would need to share theories and divide tasks among themselves to track all the data necessary to reliably pick winners.

Just identifying all of the variables in play is a challenge.

As a Phys. Ed. teacher, I never had the opportunity to present this to a class, and I couldn't get any other teacher in the school to buy into the concept. I would love it if you would give it a try and tell me how it went with your students.

Please note that the game "saves" the current dimension's data in your computer's browser's local storage. If you want to work on it over the course of several sessions, choose the "Stay in current dimension option." The other choice will create a new "dimension" mixing up all the variables, making your prior work useless.
